“ Great food and nice staff. Local gem for Vietnamese food. Items on their menu not always available at other Vietnamese restaurants. So if you want to try some authentic Vietnamese food and not be overcharged, check this place out. Plus free tea is served with meal! ”
“ The Pho here is absolutely delicious!!!.. One of the best I've had in a loooong time. First I was skeptic, but walking in and smelling a strong Pho aroma, that's already a good start. Someone talked to me in Vietnamese asking me to be seat, another good start. When I was seated I noticed something different about this place... pickled jalapeno!!!.. What a bonus! This is rare here, not many Vietnamese restaurant do this, but common in the US and overseas.. I'm already excited! When the Phos came out, the wife had a regular special Pho, I had their Sate seafood Pho. Wife was even just amazed how good it was.. Broth was just well balanced, not too sweet like the southern Viet Pho, but enough to kill that sweet tooth. The Sate Pho.. on the light side, not the thick peanut taste, more OG lemongrass sate taste, and very well balanced. Service was excellent and super friendly staff.. Overall, this will land on our top 3 best pho restaurant in Calgary!!.. Love it!! UPDATE: We went back and tried their Bun Bo Hue... wow!! Out of this world!! Amazing broth more hint of lemon grass, well balance porky flavor... Bonus: came with banana blossoms!.. ”
“ My favorite restaurant for Vietnamese rice wrapper. The variety of meat is deliciously seasoned. I heard the phobia also very good here, but I somehow always end up ordering the wrap. The prices is very good too! ”
“ Always on the lookout for good Vietnamese food. This restaurant has great options and fair pricing. Good portions. Had the dry egg noddle dish with a side of soup, great flavours in the sauce with good amount to of meat and seafood. Pictured is the Bun Rieu, not many places in Calgary make this dish, good portion it’s very filling and tons of flavour in the broth. The pho sate broth is good my partner always orders the beef sate pho. Mild spiciness with hints of peanut flavour. ”
“ I had the great pleasure of being invited by a longtime Vietnamese Friend. I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants and they serve mostly the same food at similar prices, but this restaurant had some exceptional food! To start, the Shrimp Salad rolls here have AMPLE, FRESH BASIL in them that you can't help but notice! I appreciate that they automatically bring a pot of hot tea to the table instead of the regular water. Then we had something I had never previously tried. I don't recall the real name but it is a type of lettuce wraps that you wrap in transparent rice paper, almost like tacos or Korean lettuce wraps. In these, you do put lettuce, basil, fish or other meat with noodles and then wrap them in the rice paper. It is a fun communal dish for the table. You even dip the rice paper into warm water to soften it. What a cool dish! Then the Wonton Soup was excellent! They had plenty of wontons in the soup! The servers were very attentive and spoke good English. ”
“ My daughter and I had to make a quick stop for some lunch between appointments and I’d have to say we had the best experience. We live 30 minutes away and we will be coming back solely for the spring rolls and the soup is next on the list. If you have an opportunity come check this place out! We are the spring rolls so fast we forgot to take a pic ”
“ First of all, I have to say that as amazing as the food was over here, the service and hospitality from Le was second to none!!! The Pho and Bun Bo Hue were both super tasty as well as the rolls. Extra bonus is they close at 9pm which is later than most other Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary. We'll be back the next time we visit Calgary for sure. Enjoy. ”
“ Sooo soo good!! Their spring rolls is probably one of our favourites!! Bun bo hue 10/10! & the aunties are so friendly and sweet!! ”
